The SPPDG electronics research and development laboratory is a diverse facility with state-of-the-art assembly, test and evaluation capabilities. The laboratory facilities are set up to support development of next generation electronics and optics technologies for high-speed signal processing applications, in particular for, though not limited to, high clock rate digital signal processors and wide bandwidth, high center frequency analog systems. Multiple rooms comprise the assembly and test facilities and include cleanrooms, specially designed test areas, and areas for mechanical processing. The tools and staff are in one physical location, which allows for multiple iterations between design, modeling, and simulation activities and hardware builds and test, promoting innovative solutions.
